Cleaning our homes
leaves a mess outside
In the Philippines, over 2.7 million metric tons of plastic waste is generated each year. That makes us the third largest ocean polluter in the world.
Most household cleaning products come in plastic bottles that are tossed after one use. Remember that soap bottle you threw away 10 years ago? That’s still somewhere on our planet, and it can take up to 500 more years to fully break down. Microplastics from the bottle will also pollute our oceans, endangering marine life and even our own health.
At Savon Cleaning Solutions, we believe there must be a way to keep both our homes and our planet clean.
Envisioning a new cleaning culture based on refillable, eco-friendly solutions
Our solution to plastic bottle waste comes in the form of refillable powdered cleaners.
Most liquid cleaners are 90% water and 10% active ingredients. Our powdered formula gives you the essential 10% in fully biodegradable paper packaging. All you need to do is add water to make your very own cleaning solution. Since Savon is meant to be refilled in a single bottle forever, you never need to toss another soap bottle again.
We’ve started with hand soap, but we aim to provide sustainable and affordable powder-based solutions for every cleaning need, making it easy for everyone to join the movement towards a cleaner planet.
*Our sachets are made from Kraft paper and polylactic acid, a biodegradable bioplastic made from renewable sources like corn starch or sugar.
Designed to be safe
Our powder is non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free. We’ve decided to eliminate the water content to give you only the essentials. Wondering what the essentials contain?
